Blanca Perez is a community member from South Central Los Angeles who organizes people from Boyle Heights to fight for the health of their community. Blanca gets involved in many struggles in regards to health, and they’ve won victories like DACA [renewal] and medical services for dialysis patients. The efforts of organizers like Blanca have been able to support the most marginalized members of the Boyle Heights community.
